JOIN THE FRIENDS

Friends of the Taconic Opera is an volunteer organization that helps the company achieve its goals. Much help is needed in helping an opera company grow and everyone has something different to give.

As a member of the Friends, you will meet together with other people who support the arts. You may have your own social activities and be invited to private parties with many of our artists.

Some of the activities of the Friends include ushering, putting up posters, laying out brochures in businesses, ushering at student performances and outreach activities, answering questions about the company, collecting advertising from local businesses, and sharing ideas about involving the company with local community activities.
