UN BALLO IN MASCHERA
(The Masked Ball)
by Giuseppe Verdi

The Masked Ball is the story of King Riccardo who is secretly in love with his best friend's wife. In spite of the seemingly serious story, the opera is a festival of dance music, lightheartedness, and toe-tapping fun. It is one of Verdi's most popular operas of all time. The singing is powerful and entertaining. The Opera conservatory will present three casts on three different night for FREE at the Croton Free Library Performance Space.
