by Giacomo Puccini
In Italian with supertitles
Fundraiser
in concert version accompanied
by one of the world’s top
opera accompanists and conductors,
David Maiullo.
Perhaps the most famous opera in the world, La Bohème is the story of a poet who falls in love with the seamstress, Mimi. It is also the story of their freinds who pursue their own turbulent romances. Their passionate relationships are filled with joy, jealousy, and the hardships of bohemian life. The music is some of Puccini’s best, with sweeping harmonies and intense pathos.
